We are close to the start of the Olympics! And here are the teams I’ll support the most.

(I think it’s understandable that I should start with my home country, as I will always support it, no matter what!)

Day 28: A gymnast you WANT to be the next World champion (+ A gymnast you think WILL be the next World champion)
Alina Maksymenko. I think (but I’m not sure) that my favourite Silviya Miteva will retire after this season. So, next in my line is Alina. + It would be so cool if she won in her own country! Of course, if everything is OK and she’s a part of the team at Olympics and next season tournments…
Anyway, even in Ukraine it’s possible for her to win only if all the Russians huuuuuuugely mess up, wich I doubt. If stop dreaming I think the possible winner is Daria Kondakova. Again, if everything goes right, it’ll be her time to go ahead of Kanaeva. She’s much more interesting to watch. And her routines are usually more difficult. Only in comparison. It doesn’t mean I like her. Her potential is a fact. Unfortunetely for me =)

Ukraine is definetely the best in creating and performing galas! It’s hard to choose only one. So, I’ll post several ones.
1. We don’t have it on YouTube. It was performed by Ukraine at the beginning of 2000s. Very beautiful. More elegant than modern ones, but less dynamic and powerful than nowadays.
